If the truth is told in our dreams then Lotto is a sea of wild imaginings that we may never want to face. 

In Lotto, we are taken on a journey of lovers and deceit when businessman, Sam Katz, played by Bartolo Raffaele, is diagnosed with one week to live and  dreams about his life, unknown to him, as that of his boss Tom Riely.  Out of luck, and deep into owing bills, Sam falls out of touch with reality and lives "the life of Riely" while hoping to win the lottery. 

Tom Riely, played by Rick Borgia, is a shrewd married player who falls madly in love with innocent lottery sales clerk Gina Davis, played by Yelena Sabel.  After suffering a concussion, Tom, not remembering his name, if he is married, or where he lives, shares a life of fun and good times with Ms. Davis.

Based in New York, the characters make us witness to the meaning of numbers, testy marriages and situations that are like mirages.  Jealousy, is the hot motive shared in common between Sam Katz and Gina Davis.   In the end,  the viewer must determine ...who is the winner?
